About the accepted types of content
When submitting your guest post, please note that:
- Your guest post can be an opinion piece, a how-to article or a list-type article.
- It can’t be a native ad or anything sales-focused.
- The article must be an original piece, which has never been published before.
- You will have to focus on a city/country/area or a topic on which to advise others. Should you choose the first option, you should give information on where it is, how you can get there, what are the most popular places and attractions, where to stay, where to eat, and where to go out. Try to include some off-the-beaten-path tips and some events, if possible.
The Travel Bunny aims to publish up to two guest posts per month, on a first-come, first-served basis. More travel guest posts can be published, however, when we are focusing on improving other aspects of The Travel Bunny.
Write about 500 to 1,000 words of body text about a place or a subject you are very familiar with. My readers should feel that they are receiving the best advice they can when reading about the agreed topic. Try to write your article in an appealing, and friendly way. Imagine my readers as your best friends, with whom you’re catching up after the holidays, over a good drink. And show them some great photos, to really let them know where you’re coming from!
For this, you have to provide a high-quality landscape featured image (at least 820x311px). You can also provide one or several images or collages to be used within the article (800×600 px). While it is recommended to provide several images, it is not mandatory.
The image(s) will be used not only in the article but also for the social media posts meant to promote your writing.
Please keep in mind that you must respect copyright laws when submitting both content and images.
Please pitch your article at email@example.com.
If your pitch is approved, you will receive a link to a form to submit your guest post without skipping any steps, to avoid any confusion on both sides.
Please note that The Travel Bunny reserves the right to edit the article to improve the SEO and to adjust its readibility score. Once you send the piece of writing, it becomes the property of The Travel Bunny. While you can republish the article you wrote to your blog or to another place on the Internet two weeks after its original publishing on The Travel Bunny, you must give a link to the article on The Travel Bunny’ to mention Source, Originally Posted on or Reference.
