This day trip to Krushuna Waterfalls and Devetashka Cave is an opportunity to escape the city and uncover some of Bulgaria’s incredible natural landscapes.
The Krushuna Waterfalls are the biggest travertine falls in Bulgaria. The pleasant landscape, rich vegetation, and little pools filled with mineral water make the visit extremely interesting. And, in the cliffs around the Krushuna Waterfalls, you can visit some caverns that were once inhabited by Christian hermits in the 8th to 14th centuries.
After lunch near the Krushuna Waterfalls, we will head out to the Devetashka Cave. Unlike other caves you may have visited before, the Devetashka Cave is sufficiently bright to encourage the growth of rich vegetation, particularly in spring and summer.
