Central Market (Varvakios Agora)

This is where you should go to find fresh local produce or to just get a taste of what a true Greek market is all about. You will see colorful meat, fish, and spices stands. The latter are a feast for the eyes and nose, as you will feel the powerful scents of vanilla and even saffron in the air. You can also eat at the restaurants from the area who serve food prepared with ingredients bought from this market until late at night.
