  • Choose one signature hike, not five random walks. Pic de l’Ours and Cap Roux deliver the classic high views. The loop details and access points get published by local tourism sources, so you can plan parking without guesswork.
  • Swim where the landscape does the work. Calanque de Saint Barthelemy stays small and steep, with clear water that suits snorkelling when the sea stays calm. Bring grippy water shoes for the red gravel.
  • Book one water activity that reaches coves you cannot reach on foot. A boat trip or guided kayak from Agay or Theoule-sur-Mer gets you into the calanques with less effort and more swim time.
